You read that right. With a name you can’t forget, once you stop into Fishlips Waterfront Bar and Grill in Port Canaveral, it’s not likely you’ll forget your experience either!
To me, each of the Port Canaveral restaurants have their own unique features that I enjoy about them. Fishlips happens to be my favorite spot to catch a weekend football game. They have a fairly large wrap around bar on the second floor that is surrounded by TV’s. Once you grab yourself a seat and order a cold one, it’s time to sit back and enjoy the game. Don’t see your game on the big screen? Ask the bartenders working – they’re more than happy to check around to see if they can find it (speaking from personal experience).
If that’s not your cup of tea, don’t worry as Fishlips offers so much more! During prime feeding hours, tables fill up as locals and cruise ship vacationers stop by to try out their scrumptious menu items. Did we say cruise ships? That’s right. The other half of the Fishlip’s name is Waterfront Bar & Grill, meaning it’s right on the water that cruise ships sail in and out of. If you’re not hungry, don’t let that stop you from visiting on a Sunday afternoon. Grab a frozen cocktail and waive bon voyage at the giant ships setting sail for the islands!
Fishlips probably isn’t the best spot to bring young children, but if you’re vacationing with teenage kids, they’re likely to enjoy the music and lively atmosphere (even with their parents). There are two things the restaurants in Port Canaveral are well known for – their great food selections and entertainment for the whole family! Did you decide to stop by on Sunday? Come early for their Sunday Mimosa & Brunch – they even have a breakfast dessert. Can it really get any better than a morning on the water?
