The relaxed, “anything goes” beach atmosphere is a wonderful break from the hustle and bustle of your normal, everyday life. You’re on vacation in a place where Hawaiian print shirts and flip flops are perfectly acceptable to go out in, but every now and then it’s nice to mix it up. So tonight, get ready to throw on some evening wear and dine in an upscale, quiet atmosphere.
The Fat Snook is one of the higher end restaurants in Cocoa Beach and isn’t likely to disappoint your sophisticated taste buds. While their menu tends to be higher end as well, thousands have returned time and time again. From fillet, duck and ribeye to chicken, shrimp and market price specials, The Fat Snook is also known for their desserts. They’ll tempt you with a few choices but from personal experience, their Key Lime Pie was to die for. It’s a must to save room for dessert here. All of the dishes are artistically and cleanly presented and add to the upscale ambiance; a far cry from tossing your shrimp and fries into a basket!
While I’m sure there are many more, the following are acceptable reasons to dine at The Fat Snook:
- You’d like to change it up from earlier vacation meals on the beach
- Business dinners while you’re in town
- You need to say, “I’m sorry” to your better half
- You’re ready to pop the question
- You love Key Lime Pie
If you can’t tell from the photo above, parking around The Fat Snook is limited and so is the space inside. While reservations aren’t required, it is highly suggested you call ahead to reserve a seat.
